Besides these microcars , electric scooters, electric motorcycles, and electric cars are increasingly seen on European roads and are shaping the image of the new electromobility. But when do these vehicles become worthwhile, and how can they be used correctly in everyday life?
E-folding bikes in public transport
Public transport, including buses and commuter trains, offers several options for transporting scooters and folding bikes as luggage. This allows you to fold the vehicles, saving space inside the vehicles, for example, for other passengers. Furthermore, you don't need a separate bicycle ticket.
If you're using public transport instead of a car, e-folding bikes are the ideal companion for covering the last mile comfortably and relatively quickly. The e-folding bikes can be folded in just a few steps before boarding, stored securely inside the vehicle, and then unfolded again at your destination, allowing you to continue your journey. Folding them takes only a few minutes and can easily be done at the train station or bus stop.
E-bikes on holiday

Vacation is a time for relaxation. Whether it's an active city break, a camping trip in a campervan, or an all-inclusive stay in a 5-star hotel – e-bikes make vacations even more enjoyable and fun. Many people use e-bikes, for example, to buy bread rolls from the bakery in the morning or to take a trip to the next town.
But even complete bike tours are possible with e-bikes – the advantage: a greater range than with regular bicycles and less physical exertion. This allows you to use your vacation for enjoyment and relaxation. If you have a folding e-bike, it even fits in a car or camper van and can be conveniently transported in its compact size; larger e-bikes require a bicycle trailer.
Using electric scooters in the city
These stylish urban scooters are already a common sight in many major cities, often supported by local utility companies in the form of charging infrastructure. People are familiar with scooters like the Vespa or Schwalbe – both of which are now also available in electric versions.
Besides these two well-known names, there are now many other scooters on the market. With so many options, it's worth comparing them if you want to leave your car at home or plan to use an e-scooter in the summer.
E-scooters for the last mile
Since the introduction of regulations for small vehicles, the sound of e-scooters has become a common sight on sidewalks and streets in many large cities. These scooters offer quick and easy access to the road. They can be rented via an app by the minute, or you can own a foldable model for a fast commute. These stylish e-scooters reach speeds of up to 20 km/h and are also ideal for the last mile, such as from the train station to home, or for getting around the city.
Charging e-mobility vehicles and battery maintenance

Besides all the advantages that modern electromobility now offers, there's one thing you shouldn't forget: charging the battery. Many people are familiar with the situation of a dead cell phone or laptop – it's very similar with electric vehicles, except that with bicycles, skateboards, and scooters, you can continue riding even without electric assistance.
However, if you want to maintain the battery in the long term, it's worth taking care of it in the form of regular charging, complete discharge, and storing the battery in a cool place (garage, basement, hallway) when it's not in use. If you follow these guidelines, you'll enjoy your electric vehicle for a long time and be able to use it without any problems in everyday life.
