Bosch SmartphoneGrip Retrofit Kit – Smartphone Integration for E-Bikes

The Bosch SmartphoneGrip retrofit kit consists of the SmartphoneGrip (BSP3200) and the matching arm mount (BDS3620) for 31.8 mm handlebars, allowing you to securely attach your smartphone to your e-bike handlebars and use it as a central display. In combination with the Bosch Smart System and the eBike Flow app, the SmartphoneGrip transforms your smartphone into a fully functional e-bike display with all relevant riding data.

Features & Properties

The SmartphoneGrip connects your e-bike to the Bosch digital world and provides you with all the important information at a glance while riding: navigation data, speed, battery charge level, remaining range, and other system data via the Flow app. The device is suitable for most modern smartphones with the following dimensions, including camera and case: height 6.8–13 mm , width 67–88 mm , length 123–175 mm , with a maximum total weight of 276 g . Flip cases and bulky cases are not supported.

Charging functions

The SmartphoneGrip offers two charging options :

Inductive charging (wireless): up to 7.5 W (1.5 A @ 5 V) – for smartphones with Qi function
Micro-USB charging: up to 5W (1A @ 5V) via the USB port if your smartphone does not have a wireless charging function.
On the side of the grip is an LED charging indicator that visually displays the current charging process and charge level.

System integration

The SmartphoneGrip is compatible with all Bosch e-bikes that use the Smart System . It is mounted directly to the handlebars using the included display holder. If a Bosch Smart System display such as the Kiox 300 is already installed, the SmartphoneGrip can be easily replaced without an additional adapter.

Assembly & Operation

Installation is done via the Bosch display or the single-arm mount. After mounting, you attach your smartphone to the grip and open the Bosch eBike Flow app – and you can now use your smartphone as your central eBike display. Thanks to the rubberized contact surfaces, the device stays securely in place even during normal road or gravel rides. The SmartphoneGrip is not designed for very rough trails or jumps.
