The Walchensee loop usually starts in Einsiedl , where there is a large parking lot. From there, the route leads directly along the shore – with fantastic views of the turquoise water.

South side : Shady forest paths, small bathing coves and a peaceful atmosphere.
West shore : This is where the most beautiful swimming spots are located, perfect for a break in summer.
Urfeld : From there, a short detour to Lake Kochel via the well-known Kesselbergstraße is worthwhile (Caution: steep, many switchbacks – more for experienced drivers).
Zwergern Peninsula : An absolute highlight with fantastic panoramic views and quaint beer gardens.
