The biggest difference between a hardtail and a fully e-mountain bike is the area of use. The hardtail has no shock absorbers in the rear, but a fully suspended front wheel. A hardtail is suitable for day trips, easy downhill passages and rides on forest paths. With a pure hardtail, you should expect slightly less traction and stability than with a fully.
