Carbon bike

A carbon bike is a bike where the frame and possibly other components are made from carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is an extremely lightweight yet strong material that is created by processing carbon fiber.

The frame of a carbon bike is made by arranging and weaving these carbon fibers in a specific pattern and using resins or adhesives to achieve high strength and rigidity. Carbon frames offer excellent rigidity while remaining lightweight, which helps make carbon bikes often very capable and responsive.

The use of carbon as a construction material allows manufacturers to develop bicycle frames with different properties, such as frames with high stiffness for racing bikes , aerodynamic shapes for time trial bikes or even frames with certain flex properties for comfort on long-distance rides.

Carbon bikes are often popular with professional cyclists and enthusiasts because they can offer a good balance between weight, stiffness and comfort. However, they are usually more expensive than bikes with frames made from other materials such as aluminum or steel.
