The 2025 Slovenian Istria GP offered an exciting and challenging race over 156 km. Four long laps took the riders over the infamous Brandi climb, with gradients of up to 10%. Lap after lap, the field was decimated, while the Dutch BEAT team added to the excitement with a high speed on the wind edge.
A race full of challenges
Of the 170 starters, only 50 riders remained as the race transitioned to the shorter final laps. With 30 km to go, a 10-man leading group broke away, which would later battle for the victory. MYVELO missed the connection to this group but opted for an offensive tactic. Andrin Züger attacked to break Nils Brun away from the chasing group and give him a better starting position.

Close to the top
Nils Brun successfully broke away, but narrowly missed catching up with the leading group. Nevertheless, he achieved an outstanding result at UCI Europe Tour level with a strong 12th place – just two positions away from valuable UCI World Ranking points.
Belgian victory and MYVELO's strong performance
The race was won by Belgian Michiel Coppens of BEAT Cycling Club. Despite narrowly missing a top-10 finish, MYVELO delivered an impressive performance, proving once again that the team is competitive at this level.
A great race with valuable experience for the team – we look forward to the challenges ahead!
