The MYVELO Pro Cycling Team struck straight away in the second race of the season: At the GP Ticino 2025 in Switzerland, Andrin Züger took a strong second place, while Nils Brun narrowly missed the podium in fourth place.
Solid team performance ensures top results
The team controlled the race from the start. The strong-throwing Miron Lipp, Meo Amann, and Christoph 'Böbi' Janssen held the field together and prevented any breakaway attempts. After about 25 kilometers, Jan Sommer launched an impressive solo attack, temporarily extending his lead to 1:45 minutes. His rivals were forced to react and caught up with him after 50 kilometers – but MYVELO remained on the offensive.

Christoph Janssen attacked immediately afterwards , putting the field under pressure and was only caught on the final climb with 30 kilometers to go. Then Andrin Züger and Nils Brun's time had come : both strong climbers, they shook off the main field. Züger was able to open a slight gap with one competitor, increased his lead to 45 seconds on the descent and did most of the leading work on the final flat kilometers. He was narrowly beaten in the final sprint, but second place was an impressive performance. Nils Brun came second in the chasing group sprint and finished fourth overall, 25 seconds behind.
